As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver Trainee at SYSCO, you will:

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
• Build relationships with customers and provide exceptional service by understanding their needs and expectations
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while representing SYSCO

Responsibilities:

• Deliver products in a timely and professional manner, adhering to safety regulations and company policies
• Unload and manually deliver products to customer locations
• Develop a strong knowledge of customer operations to better meet their needs
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

Requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• CDL Permit required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Must be willing to attend CDL-A training class
