As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods between SYSCO facilities and delivery locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You may also be responsible for unloading products and delivering them to customer locations on assigned routes.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Secure cargo and ensure proper handling to prevent damage
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Complete necessary paperwork and records

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds occasionally
