Summary:

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, you will play a vital role in our transportation operations. You will be responsible for delivering goods to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Your positive and friendly attitude will help you build strong customer relationships and meet their needs and expectations. This position requires manual unloading and may involve lifting, pushing, or moving products weighing up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations
• Build relationships with customers and understand their operations to meet their needs
• Manually unload products and ensure proper distribution
• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid CDL A permit
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class which may require time away from home
