Responsibilities
As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods, Inc., your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering customer orders on time and ensuring high-quality customer service
- Operating a hand truck and loading/unloading products
- Making frequent stops and navigating through various weather conditions
- Verifying delivery with customers and collecting payments when necessary
Requirements
To qualify for the position of CDL A Delivery Truck Driver, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid U.S. driver's license with proper endorsements
- Maximum of two traffic violations in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no license suspensions in the past three years
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
