As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods, you will play a crucial role in our organization. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, and supplies, to our valued customers. You will ensure timely and accurate deliveries, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customers' orders on time and maintain productivity
• Safely unload products using a hand truck and place them in the customer's storage area
• Perform repeated, manual lifting of items up to 80 pounds
• Make frequent stops during a work shift
• Deliver products in various weather conditions
• Verify delivery of items with customers
• Collect payment (cash or checks) when necessary

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements
• Maximum of two traffic violations in the past two years, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
• Must be able to pass DOT physical
