Job Title: Production Planner

Location: Coimbatore

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Coimbatore.

Responsibilities

• Manage open work order status on a daily basis
• Handle daily production scheduling
• Ensure sales order and work order configurations are aligned
• Manage work in process inventory, warehouse kitting, and shortage mitigation
• Oversee order backlog and minimize inventory
• Track and analyze cycle time and other manufacturing reports
• Collaborate with other functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance) to resolve issues and ensure on-time production
• Monitor accurate revenue recognition on assigned work orders
• Review and resolve material shortages
• Maintain planning parameters in the MRP system
• Drive on-time delivery to the customer
• Communicate customer order delivery dates
• Facilitate the closure of work orders
• Foster communication and collaboration with operations to align planning efforts with business goals

Requirements & Skills

• Ability to work during the Pacific Standard Time Zone
• Bachelor's degree required
• 2-5 years of experience in Planning & Procurement
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
• PLM hands-on usage experience preferred
• Experience with ERP & MRP tools
• Solid understanding of Six Sigma Lean manufacturing, JIT, Kanban, and VMI
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Self-starter, highly motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented
• Project management skills
• Familiarity with product life cycles
