CYOS Solutions, in collaboration with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to contribute to the development of a customer portal for near coastal seafarers. This 12-month contract role based in ACT offers an exciting opportunity to shape user experiences and enhance customer interactions.

Details

The successful candidate will work closely with an established in-house UX team to design and optimize user experience for customers engaging with AMSA through a B2C web application. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading user experience design for digital products, focusing on B2C web applications.
• Creating information architectures, wireframes, user interfaces, and visual designs.
• Conducting user research and testing to map user journeys and enhance user engagement.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and building stakeholder relationships.
• Advocating for a user-centered design approach and applying Agile methodology.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in user experience design for digital products.
• Proficiency in creating wireframes, user interfaces, and design asset libraries.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful user experience projects.
• Ability to conduct user research, user testing, and map user journeys.
• Experience in Agile methodology, WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA, and Digital Service Standard.

Desirable Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in human-centered design or related fields.
• Experience in large-scale digital transformations.
