About the Role

As a Specialised Carer, you will play a key role in helping older people maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care, including showering and dressing
• Assisting with meal preparation and light house cleaning
• Transporting clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
• Administering medication

Requirements

• Empathetic and patient with a focus on finding solutions
• Previous experience in aged or community care preferred
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is desirable
• Flexibility to meet the changing needs of clients
