Summary:

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting a Federal Intelligence Agency contract, maintaining large-scale enterprise environments, and providing Tier 2 support for Microsoft-based networks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux workstations
• Troubleshoot application functionality and performance
• Investigate user performance issues and collaborate with external teams for improvement
• Provide Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications
• Offer remote end-user desktop support
• Analyze and resolve system incidents with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Participate in special projects as required

Required Skills:

• 4-7 years of relevant experience
• Active Directory Administration
• DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP
• Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016
• Application troubleshooting (Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer)
• Linux Operating System
• Understanding of Service Now, NETS or other ticketing process
• ITIL v3 or higher

Desired Skills:

• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
• PowerShell
• Virtualization Environments (VMware, Citrix)
• Profile management utilizing VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset
• Microsoft Exchange
• Telephone/Video support
• Networking
• Familiarity with site-specific customer and mission

IAT II certification required
