##Summary:

Manpower Australia is partnered with a leading global Energy Solutions organization in search of a Senior Project Engineer for their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on Switchgear and SCADA projects, focusing on design, review, testing, and commissioning. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects in a manufacturing setting with corporate offices in the North East, Yarra Ranges Shire, VIC. If you are a skilled professional with experience in High Voltage equipment and power substations, along with a strong background in electrical engineering, we would love to hear from you.

##Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical design, reviews, approvals, testing, and commissioning.
• Support and coordinate drafting and site installations.
• Prepare project documentation.
• Assist team members in resolving technical quality issues.
• Provide internal support and expertise as required.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team for equipment and services.
• Manage key internal and external stakeholders, including clients.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on engineering assignments.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with safety regulations.
• Look for process and efficiency improvements.
• Coach and provide support and technical advice to colleagues.
• Lead the projects team when necessary.

##Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of industry experience in High Voltage equipment and power substations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Engineering and Technical standards (AS/IEC).
• Proficiency in drafting and reading drawings.
