Summary:

West Recruitment Pty Ltd is currently partnering with a well-known and highly respected organization in Western Sydney. They are seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Team Leader to provide leadership and direction to the BI & Data team. This is a pivotal role within the BI function that supports the organization through data-driven insights and analysis. The role offers a generous daily rate, a 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend, and is located in Greater Western Sydney.

Details:

• Lead the data warehouse team and ensure a collaborative and productive work environment
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouse systems
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and implement data warehouse strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement necessary improvements

Requirements:

The successful candidate:

• Is a highly organized leader with experience managing a Data/BI or Analytics team
• Has hands-on experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics
• Is proficient in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehouse technologies (Oracle, Wherescape Red, Alteryx, etc.)
• Enjoys partnering with business stakeholders to deliver insights that support their objectives
