About this role

The CIO - North America leads the Information function and resources for North America. This position reports into the Global CIO with a dotted line into the CEO North America. Randstad is transforming digitally to meet the demand of clients, talent, and employees, aiming to enhance business performance and maintain market leadership.

🎯

What you'll do

  • IT Leader for North America
  • Organization and management of the IT department
  • Lead for shared technology platforms and products
  • Implementation of a unified IT landscape as directed by the global IT strategy
  • Decommissioning local systems in favor of strategic global IT service objectives
  • Evaluation and recommendation of IT investments
  • Anticipate changes and influence local business management in terms of information technology
  • Ensure adequacy between customer needs and available IT tools
  • Contributes to and executes business segment strategy
  • Guarantee continuity of IT and telecom service
  • Lead information systems development plan
  • Ensure consistency between information systems
  • Liaise between IT department and other departments
  • Supervise design and implementation of information systems
  • Oversee incident management process
  • Work with senior management to align IT strategy with business objectives
  • Implement global IT security policy
  • Ensure protection of local company data
  • Evaluate and monitor IT department budgets
  • Analyze subcontracting offers
  • Advocate new uses for competitive advantage
  • Supervise and coordinate IT service work
  • Organize IT department optimally
  • Evaluate performance and development of IT teams
  • Create a positive environment to attract and retain IT talent

Requirements

  • Masters in Computer Science or engineering or other relevant qualifications
  • 10 or more years of experience as a service manager or IT director in an IT services company or department
  • Broad knowledge of IT systems, concepts, and methodologies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
