What you'll do
- Programming programmable logic controllers (PLC) for various industrial applications
- Designing and updating control systems and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) interfaces
- Conducting tests and validations of automated systems, ensuring compliance with technical requirements
- Analyzing and resolving issues related to PLC systems and other control devices
- Collaborating with the engineering team to integrate automated solutions with mechanical and electrical equipment
- Providing technical support to internal teams and, when necessary, clients to optimize the use of developed systems
- Documenting projects and system updates for clear and precise tracking
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement of automation processes and the implementation of new technologies

Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, robotics, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Instruction List (IL) programming languages
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems and programming in these environments
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to encountered challenges
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team to successfully complete projects
- Bilingualism (French/English), ability to navigate in a bilingual environment
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel
