As a Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods, Inc., you will play a critical role in our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of our high-quality food products, equipment, and supplies to our valued customers. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver customers' orders within scheduled delivery times
• Unload products using hand trucks and place them in the designated storage area
• Perform repeated manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
• Make frequent stops during a work shift
• Deliver products in various weather conditions
• Verify delivery of items with customers
• Collect money (cash or checks) as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements, if required
• Maximum of two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations
• No DUI convictions in the past three years
• No driver's license suspensions in the past three years
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
• Must be able to pass DOT physical
