Details:

As a Class A Truck Driver at US Foods, Inc., you will play a crucial role in our team and be the face of our organization to our customers. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies. Your commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining scheduled delivery times will contribute to our success. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering customers' orders and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Unloading products and placing them in the customer storage area
  • Performing manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
  • Making frequent stops during a work shift
  • Delivering products in various weather conditions
  • Verifying delivery with customers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
  • Maximum of two convictions in the past two years for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to pass DOT physical
