Details

As a US Foods, Inc. Delivery Driver, you will make a significant impact on our customers by delivering a wide range of products. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times with a focus on best-in-class customer service
• Unloading products with a hand truck and placing items in the customer storage area
• Making frequent stops during a work shift and performing repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
• Delivering products in various weather conditions
• Verifying delivery of items with customers
• Collecting payment where needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements, if required
• Maximum of two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
• Ability to pass DOT physical
