Responsibilities

As a CDL A Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in the success of US Foods, Inc. and be the face of our organization. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times
• Unloading products with a hand truck and placing items in the customer storage area
• Making frequent stops during a work shift
• Delivering product in inclement weather conditions
• Verifying delivery of items with customers
• Collecting payment from customers when needed

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
• Maximum of two traffic violations convictions in the past two-year period, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
• Must be able to pass DOT physical
