In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn how to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer, as well as manually unload and deliver various products to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer
• Manually unloading and delivering various products to customer locations
• Building positive relationships with customers
• Learning and following all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintaining accurate delivery records

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Recent driving school graduates are welcome
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have a CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to attend CDL-A training class, which may require time away from home
