Responsibilities
As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer to transport doubles (potentially triples) between SYSCO facilities and shuttle yards
- Unloading and delivering various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspecting deliveries for potential issues and reporting them to the appropriate personnel
- Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and timely
Qualifications
To be considered for the role of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, you must meet the following qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds
