Responsibilities

As a Local Delivery Truck Driver at SYSCO, your responsibilities will include:

• Safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer
• Manually unloading and delivering various products to customer locations
• Building positive relationships with customers
• Familiarizing yourself with customer operations to meet their needs and expectations

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Recent driving school graduates welcome
• At least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• CDL Permit
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Physical ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds
• Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Required to attend CDL-A training class which includes time away from home
