Details
As a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver at US Foods, you will play a critical role in our team and be the face of our organization. Your responsibilities include delivering a wide range of products, such as meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies, to our customers' drop-off sites. You'll provide excellent customer service, deliver orders on time, and unload products using a hand truck. Heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds is required, and you'll make frequent stops during your shift. Additionally, you'll be responsible for verifying deliveries with customers and collecting payments when necessary. Join our transportation team and become an integral part of our organization.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Maximum of two traffic violations in the past two years
- No DUI convictions in the past three years
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
