Role:

We are looking for a Python Developer to join our Technology team. In this role, you will work closely with our product teams to develop new products and enhancements. Additionally, you will support our consulting teams in delivering projects efficiently. The ideal candidate has a master's or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, a strong understanding of the data science ecosystem, and proficiency in backend development. A "can-do" attitude and a passion for coding are crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based web servers
• Build backend APIs using Tornado, Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Work with RESTful APIs
• Implement and maintain web crawlers and scraping tools
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of application development experience with Python
• Proficiency in backend API creation using Tornado, Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Strong experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with web crawling and scraping
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong consulting and communication skills
• Ability to optimize applications for performance and scalability

Additional Qualifications (Desirable):

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
