Australia Post is looking for a Retail Customer Service Officer to join their team in Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions, promoting products, and assisting customers with various services. This position offers casual shifts, 12 weeks of paid training, competitive pay rates starting at $32.37 per hour, and numerous career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer sales and service transactions
• Manage high-value transactions accurately
• Conduct identity services transactions
• Promote products and services through up-selling and merchandising
• Assist customers with mail lodgements
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking

Requirements

• Experience in customer service and/or cash handling
• Ability to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly
• Stand for extended periods during shifts
