As an Insurance Officer at Farm Credit Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Aggressively marketing and promoting insurance products by building strong relationships with clients, prospects, and influencers
• Maintaining client relationships through frequent interactions and periodic sales calls
• Delivering value-added insurance services to clients
• Maintaining prospect files, establishing ongoing prospecting plans, and meeting sales goals
• Providing insurance expertise and support throughout the organization

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, agriculture, or related field
• Experience in the agribusiness/farming industry or similar field
• Current state insurance license (preferred)
• Knowledge of crop insurance programs, grain marketing, and finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent negotiating and selling skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting software
• Strong organizational and client service skills
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
