CYOS Solutions is looking for a skilled Cyber Technical Analyst to join their dynamic ICT cyber security team. The role involves providing technical expertise, writing security documentation, and offering advice on security architecture best practices. The position offers the flexibility of being Canberra-based with the option to work from home part-time. Details:

• Location: Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
• Contract Length: 12 months with possible extensions
• Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
• Rates: $60 - $85 per hour (incl. super)

Responsibilities:

• Write and present security documentation
• Provide advice on security architecture best practices
• Review and guide application and system integration designs in alignment with security standards
• Raise awareness of security issues among departmental staff
• Implement Essential Eight in various Government agencies
• Work on Azure cloud infrastructure and services

Requirements:

• Troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
• Ability to work under pressure and produce high-quality outcomes
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in documenting technical security artifacts

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in reviewing application and system integration designs related to PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight
• Implementation of Essential Eight in Government agencies
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services
